I'm a correspondent at Wired, and writer-at-large at Pop-Up Magazine, which is performed live on stage in San Francisco. My writing has also appeared in Men's Health, Maxim, The New York Times, Esquire, GQ, Popular Mechanics, and Popular Science. Previously, I was the editor of Cool Tools. While attending UC Berkeley's Graduate School of Journalism, I was Chris Anderson’s writing assistant on The Long Tail. Beyond print, I produce & appear in videos. Related: I can handle bobsledding, stomach aerial stunts, tolerate tear gas, and drive a Zamboni.
